Scissor Lift Inspections
Annual inspections and pre-operational compliance checks
Scissor lifts are classified as Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs). They must be inspected at regular intervals to remain compliant and safe for use. Lincer carries out annual inspections and pre-operational compliance checks across Melbourne and Victoria. Documentation is issued upon completion so your equipment is fully certified and ready to return to service.
What the annual and major inspection covers
A scissor lift inspection covers the full mechanical and electrical system, including the scissor mechanism and all structural components, hydraulic system including cylinders, hoses and fluid condition, platform deck, guardrails, gates and entry points, emergency lowering system, control functions at both platform and ground level, battery condition and charging system (electric models), engine and fuel system (diesel models), tyres or solid rubber wheels, all safety devices and interlock systems, and load and function testing to verify safe working load capacity. Lincer issues a full inspection certificate upon completion, confirming your equipment meets the requirements under Australian standards.
Pre-operational and periodic inspections
In addition to annual inspections, scissor lifts require pre-operational checks before each use and periodic inspections at intervals determined by usage frequency and the manufacturer's recommendations. Lincer can advise on the correct inspection schedule for your fleet and carry out scheduled periodic inspections to keep your equipment in continuous compliance.
Scissor Lift Repairs
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repair across all brands
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repair across all brands
When a scissor lift requires repair, Lincer diagnoses the root cause and carries out the necessary work to return the equipment to full working order. Our team handles mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults across all makes and models. Common repairs include hydraulic cylinder and hose replacement, scissor arm pin and bearing replacement, control system and wiring faults, platform deck and guardrail repairs, battery and charging system repair or replacement (electric models), and motor and drive system repairs. Following any repair that affects the structural or load-bearing components of the machine, Lincer performs a full function and load test before returning the equipment to service.
