Suction Pad Adapter for Curved
Glass Lifter GL-RN 800
With 8 × 400 × 240 mm pads · radius ≥ 1.0 m · WLL 520 kg.
Purpose-built adapter set for lifting convex and concave curved glass panes with the OKTOPUS GL-RN 800. The set converts the standard GL-RN frame into a two-rail beam layout with eight 400 × 240 mm pads, distributing load evenly along the curve.
One set consists of:
- 4 × insert arms for GL-RN 800 with swivel joint
- 2 × side rails, approx. 1800 mm long, fitted into the swivel joints of the insert arms
- 4 connecting points per suction beam for GL-RN cup retainers
- Standard fixing clamps and vacuum manifold for up to 4 suction pads per rail
- Vacuum distribution for 4 suction pads per rail (curved panes, bending radius ≥ 1.0 m)
- 8 × suction pads 400 × 240 mm for curved panes (bending radius ≥ 1.0 m)

Adapters for Curved Glass Panes
OKTOPUS® Glass Lifter GL-KN 1000
16 × Ø 280 mm pads · radius ≥ 2.0 m · WLL 800 kg
Purpose-built adapter set for mounting on the OKTOPUS® GLASS-Jack GL-KN 1000. The adapters convert the GLASS-Jack into a wide twin-rail beam that handles convex and concave curved glass panes with a bending radius down to 2 m and a maximum pane weight of 800 kg.
The 16 suction pads (Ø 280 mm) are distributed evenly across two independent vacuum circuits — the red circuit and the blue circuit — so that if one circuit fails, the load remains balanced and supported by the second circuit. Pads must always be arranged symmetrically across both circuits; contact the Lincer service team before re-arranging the pad pattern.

- Two adapter arms bolt directly to the GL-KN 1000 base frame using four supplied locking bolts and lynch pins.
- Each pad is individually adjustable on its swivel
- Each adapter rotates to follow the curvature of the pane

Adapters for Curved Glass Panes
OKTOPUS® Glass Lifter GL-N 800
14 × Ø 200 mm pads · radius ≥ 1.0 m (convex & concave) · WLL 320 kg
Purpose-built adapter set for mounting on the OKTOPUS® GLASS-Jack GL-N 800. This adapters is designed to handle both convex and concave curved glass panes, with a bending radius down to ±1000 mm and a maximum pane weight of 320 kg.
The 14 suction pads (Ø 200 mm) are split evenly across two independent vacuum circuits — red and blue — so the load remains balanced if one circuit fails. Pads must always be arranged symmetrically across both circuits; contact the Lincer service team before re-arranging the pad pattern.

Spacers Glass Lifters
GL-N & GL-RN
Available in 50, 60 and 80 mm heights
These spacers are designed to increase the clearance between the suction pads and the underside of the glass lifter. They are used in applications where standard glass lifting configurations are not possible due to window frames, transoms, or mullions obstructing the lifter from achieving full contact with the glass surface.
Spacers are available for GL-N and GL-RN (not for GL-N 400/300) in three heights: 50, 60 and 80 mm.
Electric Tilting Crane Arm
Glass Lifter GL-LN 600
New crane arm with electric tilting cylinder.
For all GL-N 400/600/800, GL-RN 400/600/800, GL-LN 400 and GL-LN 600
A new-generation crane arm fitted with an electric tilting cylinder and cable remote control, with a completely independent on-board power supply. It replaces the manual and hydraulic tilt mechanisms used on standard crane arms and gives the operator powered, infinitely variable tilting up and down across the full 0° – 90° range — improving safety, repeatability and operator comfort during glass installation.
The arm is length adjustable and the crane eye is inclination-adjustable, so the lifter can be balanced and trimmed to suit each load. The electric arm is also available as a retrofit for existing OKTOPUS® lifters in the compatible model range.

Which OKTOPUS lifters can the new electric tilting crane arm be fitted to?
The new crane arm with electric tilting cylinder is compatible with GL-N 400/600/800, GL-RN 400/600/800, GL-LN 400 and GL-LN 600. It can be specified on new lifters or supplied as a retrofit kit for existing devices already in service.
What is the difference between the curved-glass adapters for GL-RN 800, GL-KN 1000 and GL-N 800?
