The OKTOPUS® ERGO-Jet, is an advanced vacuum handling system designed for the safe and ergonomic in-house handling of panels made from glass or other materials. Utilising compressed air, this system features 360° rotation and an infinitely adjustable pneumatic lifting column, allowing for precise positioning of loads. The ERGO-Jet is equipped with a fixed connection between the lifting column and crane runway on a double-rail crane trolley, enhancing stability and control. Its extendable arms enable easy geometric adjustments of the suction bridge to fit various load sizes without tools.
Vacuum generation is achieved through regulated ejectors with non-return valves and integrated pressure gauges, ensuring consistent performance. Control buttons on the handles allow for simultaneous control and operation, facilitating fine-tune positioning, including rotating, tilting, and inclination adjustments. The ERGO-Jet’s lightweight aluminum construction reduces overall weight and requires minimal maintenance, making it a cost-effective solution. Designed for efficiency, it enables a single operator to handle large and heavy glass panels with ease, minimising power consumption and operational costs.
